Visitors are welcome at Villa Leonardo Gambin. Visiting hours are from 8:00am until 9:00pm. Families can also purchase a swipe pass that will allow then access to the home and the RHA's outside of the visiting hours. Upon entering the residence all guests are required to sign in at reception and there are hand sanitizers that we encourage visitors to use before entering the home. If visitors are not feeling well, they should not visit the home as precautionary measure.
Family members and visitors may be asked not to visit during an outbreak when residents in the home are ill with respiratory or intestinal illnesses. The purpose of this is to protect the resident and families from illness and to prevent the spread of illness within the home. Family members and visitors should not visit if they are exhibiting cold or flu like symptoms (i.e. runny nose, sneezing, fever, cough, vomiting or diarrhea). Similarly, children who have been exposed to chickenpox are also asked not to visit. Residents catch these infections easily, therefore annual influenza shots are strongly recommended for all residents and for frequent visitors to the residence. Residents are also advised to have a pneumovax immunization. During an outbreak, visitors will be prohibited from entering the residence. The administration staff of Villa Leonardo Gambin will contact families and update them on the progress of the outbreak and when it is over and regular visits can resume.
