Serving the GTA since 2004, Villa Leonardo Gambin provides an atmosphere of warmth and comfort for its 168 residents as well as their loved ones.

My mother has been residing and VLG since 2015.  Since that time, she has received the utmost care from all the staff  and volunteers in all aspects  of dealing with her various issues.  i.e., several stages of dementia, chronic asthma that has landed her in hospital numerous times. Based on my prior experience with other nursing homes that my mother-in-law was in, I can only say that the VLG staff goes above and beyond what is required of them.  In these stressful times, they have always returned my phone calls and have always taken the time to patiently speak to me regarding any and all concerns that I may have had.  I feel that VLG is one of the nursing homes that other nursing homes should emulate….

I have been a volunteer at Villa Leonardo Gambin  up until the arrival of this awful virus that has infected the entire world by the name of COVID.  Because of this, appropriate precautions were put in place, including the suspension of visits from the outside, including volunteers,  in order to prevent the spread of the virus to its residents and the prevention of its painful consequences.
 I would like to let all the staff know, in particular those responsible for activities, of my complete admiration and support. ˂˂Siete tutti grandi˃˃!   Fighting an enemy that is invisible, and that does not recognize barriers is not easy.  “Tenete duro”!  Keep fighting!
